Our Nursery In Derby. Our Family. Our Community.

At The Orchard Garden private day nursery in Derby we know how important the first years of a child’s life are. This is why at The Orchard Garden we push children to use their creativity while developing their imagination. This is done through a range of fun and engaging activities including arts & crafts, sport, cooking & much more. We allow children to flourish, gain confidence and become independent whilst allowing them to grow and develop in their own fantastically unique way. Our nursery creates a community where every child can feel safe and included.

Activities

Outdoor play

Playing outside gives your children the opportunity to express themselves, test their physical limits and build their self-confidence while exploring the natural environment.

Celebrating festivals

We as a multicultural nursery value traditions and celebrations of all the different cultures. We like to educate our children about these celebrations and get them involved if they are interested.

Messy and creative play

Creative play is a wonderful way for children to learn and develop. Creative activities enable brain development, help children express themselves and create a shared learning experience.

Activities to enhance learning

This includes activities which will help your child develop their learning skills and prepare them to start their first school years.
